Sidney Sheldon won an academy award at age 31.
He created and wrote famous shows like ‘I dream of Jeannie’ and was an international bestseller who sold over 300 million books.
Early in his career, before making all these marks, he began dating a very attractive woman.
But he could only see her every other evening.
Curious, he asked her what she was up to the other evenings.
She earnestly replied that she was seeing another man, that she liked them both but had to pick one soon.
The other guy turned out to be then world famous pianist and conductor Jose Iturbi. Sydney did not think he had a chance.
She told him, “Jose told me that you’re a Coca-Cola.”
Sydney was puzzled and asked “I’m a what?”
She replied: “A Coca-Cola. He said there are millions of you and only one of him.”
He never saw her again.
