Here’s a fable.
A gnat flew through the valley, buzzing and looking for a place to land. He spotted a bull and touched down on one of his horns.
After resting for a bit, he was getting ready to fly away.
But before heading out, he told the bull “I’m sorry for chilling on your horn and using it as a rest stop. You must be glad I’m leaving.”
The bull replied, “What? I didn’t even notice you…”
The moral of the story?
Be so good that you don’t even notice the competition.
